The Shanghairen Cover

I’ve always been fond of Shanghai’s bustling streets - surrounded by the old houses and trees. But I haven’t been back there in a long time and I now really miss the city. This picture depicts one of my favourite memories of Shanghai: while riding a bike on a sunny afternoon, this particular building caught my eye. It was so beautiful I couldn’t stop looking at it. I loved my time in Shanghai and really appreciate the inspiration it continues to provide me in my work.
